Group for information technology and communication

Tasks and activities 

The group for information technologies and communication performs tasks related to: improvement and development of information and communication technologies in the Directorate; administration and maintenance of local network, external communications, internet and computer programs; introduction, installation and reinstallation of system and network software, software systems and databases; security and protection of the Directorate's information system; provision of information and documentation basis for drafting regulations in the field of metrology; organization of systematization, processing and use of scientific and professional information in the field of metrology; participation in international cooperation in the field of metrology; preparing information and taking care of updating the Directorate's internet presentation; preparation of the Gazette and other publications of the Directorate; promotion of metrology; cooperation with institutions, authorities and organizations in order to exchange information; handling requests for access to information from the Directorate's scope of work, as well as other tasks in this area.
