As part of an established business and technical cooperation between Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals (DMDM) and the Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS), on March 20, 2014 representatives of the Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals Mrs. Vida Zivkovic, M.Sc., Director, and Mr. Boris Laštro, Assistant Director, visited Institute for Standardization.The guests were welcomed by Director of the Institute for Standardization Mr. Ivan Krstić and his co-workers Violeta Nešković Popović, Tatjana Bojanić, Dragan Vuksanović and Radiša Knežević. During the visit, they discussed the possibility of cooperation in the common translation of certain parts of an encyclopedia of terms in the field of electrical engineering Electropedia, then the standard ISO/IEC 80000, which deals with physical quantities and units of measurement, and also suggested the possibility of holding joint seminars organized by the two institutions.
