The evaluation process of the Stage 2 Call 2014 for Joint Research Project (JRP) proposals has been finalised. External independent referees evaluated and ranked the proposals, the EMPIR (European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research) Committee agreed on a final list of selected JRPs to fund. Directorate of measures and precious metals will be included in following projects:

• Traceable calibration of dynamic weighing instruments;
• Matrix reference materials for environmental analysis;
• Developing traceable capabilities in thermal metrology.
