Mr. Čedomir Belić Acting Director and Mr. Predrag Đurić Acting Assistant Director of Directorate of measures and precious metals (hereinafter: DMDM) attended meeting of directors of national metrology institutes which took place in Sèvres, France on October 18 – 19, 2017. Host of the meeting was the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM).

During the meeting, metrology issues of worldwide relevance, program of work of International Bureau of Weights and Measures and update of CIPM MRA arrangement – Arrangement on mutual recognition of national standards and calibration certificates and measures issued by national metrology institutes, as well as ways of financing of national metrology institutes were considered. Also planned activities on redefinition of measuring units (SI) were discussed as well as planned activities for implementation of new measuring unites in Meter Convention member states, as one of the conclusion from previous meeting.
