Within traditional International Conference on Quality – JUSK ICQ 2017, which took place at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade on June 6, 2017, organized by Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals (DMDM), Accreditation Body of Serbia (ATS) and Institute for Standardization of Serbia (ISS) were held the 8th Special conference: “National metrological system – current state and future development”, 9th Special conference: “National accreditation system - current state and future development” and 1st Special conference: “National standardization system - current state and future development”.
The introductory presentations were made by Mrs. Tatjana Bojanić, Acting Director of Institute for Standardization of Serbia, Mrs. Slavica Simić, Acting Assistant Director of Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals and Mr. Radivoje Nikoličić, Acting Assistant Director of Accreditation Body of Serbia.

As in previous years, conference aimed at presentation of numerous works, with emphasis on the results and novelties in the field of metrology, accreditation and standardization in the previous year and included the following presentation:

• Standardization as important part of the projects – Mrs. Jelena Krupež; Mrs. Jelena Skoković, ISS
• Transposition and implementation of MID and NAWI directives – Mr. Dragan Pantić and Mr. Predrag Đurić, DMDM
• Metrology of time, frequency and velocity in the Republic of Serbia – state and future activities – Mrs. Snežana Renovica; Mr. Jovica Cvetković, DMDM
• Towards a new regulation - accreditation in the field of construction products – Mr. Radivoje Nikoličić, ATS
• Activities of International organizations for accreditation EA, IAF and ILAC – Mrs. Jasna Stojanović, ATS
