Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals (DMDM) hosted third year students of Faculty of Mechanical Engineering University of Belgrade.
On the occasion of the World Metrology Day - 20th May within Month of open door, DMDM visited students who had opportunity to get familiarized with realized and precise calibration methods for SI units transfer up to the end user as well as with research activities for SI units improvement, contributing to realization of new and improvement of existing national standards and ensuring of metrological traceability up to international level. The visit was realized with a tour through laboratories for length, acoustics, temperature, time, DC voltage and large volumes.

Within Days of open door on the occasion of the World Metrology Day the 20th May. Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals, Control and Supervision Sector in Kruševac (hereinafter: DMDM) was visited by pupils of Elementary school “Vasa Pelagić” from Kruševac on May 30, 2018.
Pupils were introduced with basic metrological terms, importance of metrology in industrial production, trade as well as improvement of quality of life and environmental protection.
Through practical examples in laboratories of Control and Supervision Sector pupils had a chance to get familiarized with terms and way of physical quantities measurements, measuring instruments control and their marks.

Within Days of open doors on the occasion of marking the 20th May - the World Metrology Day pupils of third year, department jeweler of polytechnics school “Polytechnics-school for new technologies” from Zemun visited Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals. After they were introduced with history, place, role and importance of Directorate, study visit was continued with a tour through Laboratory for precious metals articles control. During the visit, pupils had a chance to get familiarized with method of hallmarking and determination of fineness degree of precious metals articles.

Students had a chance to familiarize with realized, precise calibration methods for SI units values transfer to the end user as well as with research activities for SI units improvement, contributing to realization of new and improvement of existing national standards and ensuring of metrological traceability up to international level.
Visit was realized with a tour through laboratories for: temperature, DC voltage, time, photometry, large volumes, acoustics and length.

U „Službenom glasniku Republike Srbije” broj 29/18 objavljen je Pravilnik o neautomatskim vagama koji stupa na snagu 21. aprila 2018. godine.

Stupanjem na snagu ovog pravilnika prestaje da važi Pravilnik o vagama sa neautomatskim funkcionisanjem („Službenom glasniku RS”, broj 17/13).

Direkcija za mere i dragocene metale (DMDM), Grupa za termometriju, planira da u narednom periodu organizuje međulaboratorijsko poređenje (PT-šemu) u oblasti termometrije, podoblast temperature:

Laboratorije učesnice će snositi troškove međulaboratorijskog poređenja kao i troškove transporta predmeta etaloniranja. Laboratorije su u obavezi da same obezbede transport etalona do naredne laboratorije učesnice, a u skladu sa tehničkim protokolom poređenja.

DMDM će, kao pilot laboratorija, nakon prikupljanja prijava, svim učesnicama dostaviti tehnički protokol poređenja i odrediti datum početka navedene aktivnosti.

Troškovi koji se uplaćuju na račun DMDM za potrebe poređenja iznosiće 28.000,00 RSD.

Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals (DMDM), the Group for metrology in chemistry, plans in the future to organize interlaboratory comparison in the field of density as follows:
1. Calibration of measuring instruments for density of liquids
All interested laboratories from the country and region that want to participate in the aforementioned comparison, PT-scheme, can submit their request / application formally to address the Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals, 11000 Belgrade, Mike Alasa 14, Republic of Serbia, at the latest by 18. May 2018 . year.
Participating laboratories will bear the costs of interlaboratory comparison and the costs of transporting objects of calibration. Laboratories are required to provide the transportation to the next participating laboratory, in accordance with the comparison technical protocol.
Costs to be paid on account of DMDM for comparison purposes will amount to 28.000,00 RSD.
DMDM, as a pilot laboratory, after collecting applications, will submit a technical protocol to all participants in the comparison.
Depending on the number of interested laboratories, DMDM will subsequently determine the start date for the above activities.

BIPM Circular T, koji se bez prekida objavljuje od 1. marta 1988., obeležava svoju tridesetogodišnjicu 2018. Godine.

BIPM Circular T je mesečna publikacija Odeljenja za vreme Biroa za tegove i mere (BIPM) u Parizu koja pruža informacije o razlici između koordiniranog univerzalnog vremena (UTC) i lokalnih realizacija UTC(k) održavanih od strane nacionalnih instituta.

Ona takođe sadrži i druge informacije važne za računanje ovih vrednosti. Kada je publikacija pokrenuta, tehnike poređenja vremena dozvoljavale su računanje vrednosti na svakih deset dana i Circular T je prikazivao razlike u mikrosekundama za 39 laboratorija iz 24 države. Danas Circular T prikazuje vrednosti razlika [UTC – UTC(k)] na svakih pet dana, za oko 80 instituta koji redovno doprinose podacima o poređenju svojih časovnika sa svetskom skalom vremena UTC.

Direkcija za mere i dragocene metale učestvuje u ovom poređenju od samog početka.

BIPM Circular T je dinamična publikacija i kvalitet rezultata postepeno se uvećavao u proteklih 30 godina od kada je prvi put predstavljena. Ovo poboljšanje je pratilo unapređenja ostvarena u časovnicima i tehnikama prenosa vremena i frekvencije svih laboratorija za vreme, paralelno sa stalnim unapređivanjem obrade podataka u BIPM. Sadržaji i prikaz Circular-a T takođe su napredovali; od januara 2016. interaktivna HTML verzija daje pristup potpunoj informaciji o lokalnim vremenskim skalama i vremenskim linkovima koji se koriste za poređenje satova. Dodatno, sva izdanja BIPM Circular T od marta 1988. i druge korisne informacije dostupne su na: https://www.bipm.org/en/bipm/tai/.

Na osnovu Zakona o računanju vremena („Službeni list SCG” broj 20/06) letnje računanje vremena u 2018. godini počinje 25. marta 2017. godine u 2 h, 00 min, 00 s, tako što se, pomeranjem za jedan čas unapred, vreme u 2 h, 00 min, 00 s računa kao 3 h, 00 min, 00 s.

Početak i završetak letnjeg računanja vremena usklađeni su sa Direktivom o letnjim aranžmanima 2000/84/EC Evropskog parlamenta i saveta od 19. januara 2001. godine i Rasporedima računanja vremena za letnji period objavljenim u Službenom listu Evropske unije (2001/C 35/07), (2006/C 61/02), (2011/C 83/06) i (2016/C 61/01).

Računanje vremena u Srbiji usklađeno sa računanjem vremena u Evropskoj uniji, što doprinosi funkcionisanju jedinstvenog tržišta u Evropi, kao i pravilnom funkcionisanju sektora prevoza i komunikacija, i pojedinih sektora industrije.

U „Službenom glasniku Republike Srbije” broj 20/18 objavljen je Pravilnik o načinu uzimanja predmeta od dragocenih metala koji stupa na snagu 24. marta 2018. godine.

In the “Official Gazette of RS” No. 18/18 was published: Rulebook on National standards which will come into force on March 17, 2018.

Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals (hereinafter DMDM) Control and Supervision Sector in Kruševac was visited by Students of Grammar school “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” from Kruševac. In laboratories of Control and Supervision Sector, Students had a chance to get familiarized with activities performed with purpose of unique measurements in the Republic of Serbia.
At that occasion students were introduced with importance of metrology in all day life, DMDM competences, term of physical quantities measurements, units of measurements and their marks through interactive conversation.
In laboratories for mass and length, students were shown balances, wooden meters and measuring rods. They were introduced with communal measuring instruments: water meters, electricity meters, gas meters, heat meters and legal obligation and deadlines for their periodical verification. They were also explained process of extraordinary verification of measuring instruments in use.

On the website of the International Bureau of Weights and Measurements – BIPM and in international journal Metrologia, volume 55, Technical supplement, 2018 supplementary comparison report in the field of volume of liquid: „Comparison of a 50 mL pycnometer and a 500 mL flask, EURAMET.M.FF.S8 (EURAMET 1297)” was published. In this comparison Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals was pilot laboratory. National metrology institute of Portugal was support to Directorate of Measures and Precious Metals in this project. In total 16 national metrology institutes and 17 laboratories took part in this comparison.

In the “Official Gazette of RS” No. 13 of February 14, 2018 was published: Rulebook on Amendments to the Rulebook on method of testing and hallmarking of precious metals and their alloys. The Rulebook shall enter into force on February 22, 2018.

In the “Official Gazette of RS” No. 13 of February 14, 2018 was published Rulebook on measuring instruments types which are subject to legal control. The Rulebook shall enter into force on February 22, 2018.

In the “Official Gazette of RS” No. 13 of February 14, 2018 was published: Rulebook on Metrology expertise. The Rulebook shall enter into force on February 22, 2018.
This Rulebook closely prescribes content and procedure for carrying out metrological expertise.

In accordance with Article 5 of the Rulebook on program, conditions and method of taking professional exam for tasks of measuring instruments verification (“Official Gazette of RS”, No. 2/17) Directorate of measures and precious metals published relevant sources for examination of professional exam for performing tasks of measuring instruments verification.

In the “Official Gazette of RS”, No. 7 of January 26, 2018 was published: Decision on Establishment of Metrological Council. The Decision shall enter into force on February 3, 2018.
