Representatives of the Directorate for Measurements and Precious Metals at the WELMEC WG 10 meeting for measuring equipment for liquids other than water
Representatives of the Directorate for Measurements and Precious Metals, Ljiljana Micić, head of the Volume and Flow Group, Predrag Selaković and Radomir Ivanović, metrologists in the Volume and Flow Group, were participants of the WELMEC working group for measurement from September 27 to 29, 2022. equipment for liquids other than water (WELMEC WG10). The meeting was held online. The meeting was attended by about 25 eminent experts, representatives of National Metrological Institutes (NMI) and appointed bodies (NoBo) from most European countries.
The task of WELMEC WG 10 is to participate in the adoption of the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) and to prepare guides in the field of measurement of measuring equipment for liquids other than water, which establish methods for the implementation of the directive, which is applied in the European Union.
The competence of WELMEC WG 10 is also the adoption of guidelines in the field of measuring equipment / measuring systems for liquids other than water, the requirements of which are not prescribed in the Measuring Instruments Directive (MID) but in the international OIML recommendations (OIML R81, OIML R80, OIML R105, OIML R139).
