On May 31, 2022, the public company "Srbijagas" and the Danish company "FORCE TECHNOLOGY" organized a practical workshop together with the partner and subcontractor of this foreign company in Serbia, the company "KONVEX gas and water engineering" from Zemun, whose goal was to make those present better acquainted with the importance of accurate and precise measurement of natural gas flow.
Representatives of the Directorate for Measures and Precious Metals, Acting Assistant Director of the Sector for Control and Supervision Zoran Damnjanović and Acting Assistant Director of the Sector for Development of Metrology Nikola Petrović attended a meeting held at the hotel complex "Vrdnička kula" in Vrdnik, which brought together representatives of companies from the gas sector from across the region.
Namely, the company "FORCE TECHNOLOGY" is working on a feasibility study for the construction of a laboratory for testing high-pressure gas meters for the public company "Srbijagas", and Novi Sad has been determined as the best location for this important calibration facility. The importance of this project and investment for our country is shown by the fact that in the entire region of the Balkans and Southeast Europe, ie in a diameter of over 500 kilometers from here, there is no such modern laboratory. Therefore, as expected, all gas companies from neighboring countries will be able to check and test gas meters in this laboratory.
